I've heard that for most schools, your LSAT score is considered on a spectrum that is +/- 3 points, so you are nearly as competitive as someone who is 3 points above you. This was during a webinar from a dean of admission at a top 30 law school.
@VerdantZephyr when did you submit your app? I got my interview invitation the Monday after I submitted over the weekend. It's worth giving them a call or emailing them if you submitted on christmas and haven't heard back
I think you should check with the school you are applying to. The dean of admissions told me I can submit my app before taking the test. There is a question on the app I did that asks when you will be taking it if you haven't yet.
