Google "test it out proctoru" and start a live chat with a technician. Tell him/her you want to test your equipment and the applet will be sent to you.
You can test your equipment on the ProctorU website (not with a real proctor). Most people go through test day with no equipment/tech issues. :) I tested mine before the June Flex and had no problems!
Does anyone know if they will provide a loaner device for the Flex to international test takers? My laptop has developed the interesting condition of pieces falling off. I would rather not risk that on test day.
Use Google Chrome and make sure to test the equipment using that specific browser. It informed me half way through the test that I needed to update my brower, so I clicked the link and it had me download a ProctorU extension for Chrome! Good luck :)
Hi! This will be my first time as well and I’ve had the same issue! I talked to the help desk/technician and they did the equipment test and said that RAM should be fine.
Physically easier? Yes, once you get through the check in anxiety of tech issues. Test your equipment beforehand! Easier in difficultly? No if you're like me, since LG weighs more and LR weighs less.
LSAC creates the account for you, so you have to wait until Thursday to run the equipment check after they send their email with the login details for scheduling. :(
I was able to register for a time slot. However, I did run into an issue, when I tested my equipment the RAM usage failed. I don't know what that means and when I took the October LSAT I didn't have that issue. Anyone know how to fix it?
