Okay I fixed it. For anyone with a similar issue on a mac, press command+spacebar, type in activity monitor, and then click memory and just close out things running in the background that you don't need until you pass the test.
I have been unable to fix this issue using the above mentioned methods. I have also updated my Mac and it does not seem to be fixing the issue. Does anyone know if this will cause problems on test day?
hey my mac was doing the same thing for the proctor-u pre-test check. you can call proctoru or talk to their live chat, and they'll send you to a different pre-test check site. as long as your computer works with THAT test, you'll be fine.
Hey everyone... Opening "Activity Monitor" and force quitting most activity got me to 85% for the RAM criteria, which had been causing me to fail previously. Think that may be the key! Hope it helps :)
I have a question!!! I am using my MAC computer and it is heavy, I can carry it but due to the power source (plug) the mobility is limited. May I still use this to take the test?
I had that same issue mine said RAM 97% of 90%. I closed down the browser and logged in through the extension by clicking on the chrome extension. It has the Proctor U Owl. It worked fine after that.
Hi! Taking lsat in two days, taking it on Mac Big Sur, and have Norton installed as security software. Any advice on what settings I should change etc before lsat? I'm super worried about the technical difficulties...
Did you figure it out? If you have a Mac and recently downloaded a new OS (Catalina is one of them), there is a new requirement that you allow screen sharing via Chrome within System Preferences
@kilgoretrout hey! if you can, download the app _memory diag_ from the app store. My ram was fine ALL week and did the same thing 10 minutes ago. You basically press a button and recycle ram. It freed up mine from 94%
Hey the system they are using is "Support-LogMeinRescue" I contacted this company and its NOT compatible with my MAC I had a horrible test day. My recommendation request one of LSATS devices or use a PC
