Yep—your cumulative GPA according to LSAC is the one that matters. Schools will see your degreeGPA, which is good, but they have to bake your cumulative GPA into their 509 disclosures.

28 hopefully (if I can get a score I want in November), with 4 years of work experience and a masterdegree in engineering, I wish I had any law background.
My degreeGPA is at/above the 75th percentile for every school and my LSAC gpa is at/below the median for the schools I’m applying. Most of us get screwed over by the LSAC gpa calculator. Just write an addendum.
What's your GPA? Make sure that it is as high as possible and ensure studying for LSAT doesn't hinder that. GPAs are cemented after you graduate (and the LSAC doesn't factor in a Master's GPA). Schools definitely care about both numbers!
