Actually, most of the stuff in the stimulus is noise. The main elision is that if something has an effect ("gave pleasure" in conclusion), it was intended to ("in order to give pleasure" from the premise).

That really sucks. I am very sorry. Do not blame yourself. The LSAT experience is an extremely stressful situation. If the noise interfered with your test, you might want to look on LSAC's website to see if there is any recourse.

I remember one person complaining about the audible ticking noise, but I have yet to hear that from my watch unless I put it directly next to my ear haha. They must have gotten a defective watch.
