Same boat actually! I'm planning on going to law school but my wife will be working hourly while I do so. If anyone has any insight I'd love to hear it. Will definitely be curious how my FAFSA turns out and I'll be talking to FA extensively.
God bless u, truly. I'm studying while working full time, taking care of a sick parent, and prepping a book for publication (final draft due to the academic press 2 weeks post-LSAT). It's encouraging to hear of other people in similar situations!
Former admissions officer here. If you plan on applying this fall to matriculate at a law school in August 2024, you can fill out the FAFSA starting in October 2023. Good luck!
@canihazJD - is URM on the basis of ethnicity / race still relevant for the application process? Would being a first generation college student entail being a URM (e.g. parent's highest-level being high school)?
