For now, it's online. Before COVID, the test was administered on tablets at testing centers. If they decide to move the test back in-person, I imagine they'd stick with the tablets. I tried scheduling remotely and then my laptop died after not giving me any slots. Then when I put it on the charger and went back in, it offered me testing centers only.
