Got it from another forum... from the forum master... though he said that this seems accurate with the top10 peek (which does not appear as ranked on ATL but Duke is there and Michigan is not) so this might be true...
I'm curious to know that myself @ddakjiking . I'm really surprised by Duke getting in the top10, though next year they'll probably be 11 again. Besides Michigan and Duke, I'd say the rankings look pretty standard.
Well Duke rejected a number of students and placed plenty on the waitlist.. on the day that they got to know they had broken into the top10 so this could be true.
It honestly depends what kind of job you want. Trying to get Biglaw from T25 isn't even guaranteed. If you aren't the top10-15% of your class at a T50, you might not get a Biglaw and end up making 50k a year in a small firm.
@"J.H. Song" as far as I know the T14 refers to schools that are or were at one time in the top10. UT was actually ranked 14th one time but it was not called a T14 since it was never in the top10.
@mimimimi here is the TLS thread "Lazy's Guide to Top10% Without Working Nights or Weekends" I had mentioned previously: http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=162799
... be naive to believe a top 20 school isn't going ... ton of kids in the top10-20% of their class try ... wouldnt get in being the top10% and a 152 LSAT. I ... smaller. Big firms recruit the top freshman... your chances are going ...
