LSAC specifies #2 or HB pencils. While they shouldn't care other than for the bubbles, and perhaps for the writingsample, they strike me as people who try to find picayune things to care about.

but is it taken into consideration at all?
Not much. Adcomms are aware the WS is written right after taking 5 gruesome LSAT sections. Some are even convinced the WS is never looked at lol, I find this would correlate ...
... much about the LSAT's writingsample. To my understanding, it isn ... J.Y. mentioned that the writingsample might be used to verify ... quantity in terms of the writingsample.
I just got home. I went out for a late lunch with a friend after the test, and then had about an hour drive home. My test ran far quicker than I expected. Report no later than 830, and I think we finished the writingsample at 1PM.
If you want some fast tips, check out the LSAT Kung Fu podcast episode called "Golden Streams! A 5-part process for your LSAT writingsample". It's 10 min long, and seriously is all you need to know.
... few hours understanding what the WritingSample required:) It is not to ... skill over-looked preparing for writing the test!
In ... of us posted about the writingsample after Sept'17 & ... all obviously knew that the writingsample is not to be taken ...
Everyone in the same testing center has the same writingsample, but other test centers may have a different writingsample. That was the case this June LSAT.
From my understanding, schools see your score in it's entirety and not just by section. The exception being the writingsample. HYS don't award merit $$$, but a higher LSAT will never hurt ;)
