Premise: James purchased a video camera and returned it to the store two weeks later.

Conclusion: James’s return was unethical.

We want to learn that James returned the camera after getting all the use he intended to get out of it.

(D) suggests that James might have returned the camera because he found a cheaper way to get it. But it has nothing to do with James’s intentions for the camera and whether he fulfilled those intentions before returning it.

(E) tells us that James used the camera “in the manner for which he bought it.” Does this suggest that he got all the use out of the camera that he intended? No, because we don’t know whether he wanted to use the camera more before returning it.
