Unable to load a video? Is the site acting weird, or maybe you can't post something on the forum? Looks like it's time to clear your cache!

We've compiled a list of the most popular web browsers below. If yours is missing, click on "Help" and search your browser for "Clear Cache". If you're not sure what browser version you're using, from the Help menu, select About [browser name]. In Internet Explorer and Firefox, if you don't see the menu bar, press Alt.

If you've completed all the steps below and you're still having issues, please restart your computer. If 7Sage is running slow, make sure other websites are not running slow as well. If they are, restart your internet. If it's just 7Sage, please let us know!

Most computer browsers have a quick and easy way to do it (CTRL+SHIFT+DELETE). If that doesn't work, here's what you do:


Web Browsers

Chrome

  1. In the browser bar (where you usually type your websites & searches), enter the following: chrome://settings/clearBrowserData
  2. Make sure all of these are selected:
    1. Browsing History
    2. Download History
    3. Cookies and other site and plug-in data
    4. Cached images and files
    5. You can choose how far back you want to delete stuff from at the top, but we suggesting clearing everything. (Your browser may run faster, too!)
  3. Once you've selected everything, click "Clear browsing data".  This may take a little while depending on how much stuff is there.
  4. Completely close your browser and re-open it, then try again.

Firefox

  1. Click menu, then hover over "History". You should see "Clear Recent History" appear.
  2. If your menu bar is hidden, press ALT on your keyboard.
  3. Choose how far back you want to delete stuff by clicking on the "Time range to clear:" drop-down menu. We suggesting clearing everything. (Your browser may run faster, too!)
  4. Next to "Details", you'll see an arrow facing downwards. Click that, choose what you want to clear and then click "Clear now".
  5. Completely close your browser and re-open it, then try browsing again.

Internet Explorer (8 or higher)

  1. Depending on your version, click either "Tools" or "Safety" from the menu, then select "Delete browsing history".
  2. Deselect "Preserve Favorites website data", then make sure these are selected:
    1. Temporary Internet files or Temporary Internet files and website files
    2. Cookies or Cookies and website data
    3. History
  3. Once you've selected everything, click "Delete".
  4. Completely close your browser and re-open it, then try again.
  5. Completely close your browser and re-open it, then try again.

Opera

  1. From the menu, click "Settings", then click "Delete Private Data".
  2. A dialog box should open. Select what you want to delete, then click "Delete".
  3. Completely close your browser and re-open it, then try again.

Edge

  1. Click "Settings and More" (three-lined menu button at the top right corner) and then click "Settings".
  2. Click "Clear Browsing Data" and click "Clear".
  3. Completely close your browser and re-open it, then try again.

Safari

  1. From the menu, click "Reset Safari".
  2. A dialog box should open. Select what you want to delete, then click "Reset". (As of Safar 5.1, clicking "Remove all website data" includes both your cookies and your cache.)
  3. Completely close your browser and re-open it, then try again.

Mobile Browsers

Apple iOS (iPod, iPhone, iPad, etc)

Note: The following steps apply to the newest version of Mobile Safari for iOS. If you need instructions for older versions, you might find them in Apple Support's Safari web settings on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
  1. Tap the "Settings" app.
  2. Tap "Safari".
  3. Tap "Clear History and Website Data", then tap "Confirm".
  4. Completely close your browser and re-open it, then try again.

Android

Note: The steps to clear your cache, cookies, and history may differ depending on the model of your Android device and your preferred browser.
You can clear your cache and data from your application management settings menu.
  1. Tap "Settings" and choose "Apps or Application Manager".
  2. Swipe to the "All" tab.
  3. In the list of installed apps, find and tap your web browser. Tap "Clear Data" and then "Clear Cache".
  4. Completely close your browser and re-open it, then try again.
