I think you should check with the school you are applying to. The dean of admissions told me I can submit my app before taking the test. There is a question on the app I did that asks when you will be taking it if you haven't yet.
You can't submit your apps without an LSAT on the books since LSAC won't generate a report without it. That's just one of many reasons why February should never be your first for the following fall.

So what if I want to apply to a school whose deadline is before I get my score back?
