@71888 I actually don't think your interpretation was incorrect. If I take the LSAT, then I'll score a 180, which cannot happen without studying hard. A -> B -> C perfect. I really think it just all depends on how we read it, and apparently you can I we were reading it differently that's all :)

"Which" is referring to this whole conditional (A -> B ) in order to this to happen, we need C.

never mind, heart is right. I misread it and thought you wrote B cannot happen without C.
heart is right, it's (A-->B) --> C

I believe it's the latter: (A -> B ) -> C
