Definitely JUST wait. Do not email, call or check on your status. Don't ask if they rank the waitlist. Schools often will update you so it's a "don't call us, we will call you" situation. Good luck.
How many schools did you apply to? Also, once you're on the wait-list all you can do is wait and eventually submit a LOCI (letter of continued interest). I also recommend that you avoid pestering admissions officers as they may just reject you to get you off their back.
