There are some helpful hints in the admissions portion of your 7Sage package. I would point you to the portion that asks that you put as many academic LOR's as possible. To put in perspective, I have 3 professors and 3 professional as I am 4 years out of undergrad by the time I start law school.
When you go to apply on LSAC it only lets you apply x amount of LOR's anyway. Get those great academic LOR's and make sure those professional ones address your academic capability...not you as a person. They can't put you on the USNWR if you don't have the stats.
I have the same question! I currently have 4 in my LSAC account and am unsure as to whether I should trim down to 3.
