A: They knew the function of the rolling pins for the ones they used, so this is not entirely true

B: This is true for all the boys knew there was only one rolling pin in the entire pile (The one they played with)

C: The stimuli does not state that they do

D: Speaks to utensils but not rolling pins

E: Similar to AC B, in order for this to be valid you have to recognize AC B first.

    They're just not supported.

A - nothing is stated about their understanding of its function

C - we dont know this... we dont even know what shape the rolling pins they used were.

D - this is talking about any of the utensils they used. Maybe they could easily ID any knife for instance even if they hadn't use that specific one.

E - panic trap. They very well could be able to distinguish between them, but only associate the term with the one they used.

B is the only thing that works. They each ID'ed only their rolling pin so they all think the name applies to a different object—their own rolling pin.
