update, I had no issues with the lamp and thank you everyone!
I have two lamps on my desk and have had no issues!
having a lamp is fine just make sure there's no sticky notes or anything!

yea and/or you should ask your proctor
Same here, my ceiling fan is too bright and when I study I have a candle and a lamp on to relieve stress and anxiety. If not then I guess I have to break the habit before I take the test.
