The Reccomended for BR feature has me feeling conflicted as someone who just switched from classic to new. The fact that it picks out questions you're incorrect on makes me wonder if its impeding my own ability to see what questions I'm likely to be wrong at. It also flags questions for BR that aren't incorrect, but makes me psychologically think they are, so I end up changing them.

What's your experience been? Have you found it helpful in understanding what you're wrong at, focusing your attention on weak areas, and being more confident? Or the opposite, is it stopping you from learning?

I've been having the same challenge with it making me feel like I got the answer wrong and looking at WHY it was flagged has been super helpful. The suggested BR will come up if you get the answer wrong, if you revisit it, if you spend too much time on the question, etc. I had one get flagged when it was right because I spent two seconds more than the recommended time on it. I have noticed it also flags ones that I come back to.

Understanding that BR may be recommended for a lot of different reasons has been helpful to me and like someone else said, I treat it like a fresh try. What's the harm in affirming your previous choice and taking the time to go into detail on why your choice was right and the others were wrong?

What I've found to be helpful is it simply treat it like a fresh try. I don't look at the answer I gave before, I don't worry about time, I just try the problem again and make an effort to adjust my standard process to see if I missed anything. If I truly end up with the same answer again, so be it. But many times I have gotten great BR results doing it this way. I'm not only seeing what I get tripped up on, but how that led me astray and what process would help me better next time. Hope this helps you and good luck!
