Do LOTS of untimed questions. This is the plateau I hit and I've just got past it by spending a ton of time thinking through questions and reinforcing strategies.

Targeted drills for your weakest question types and some easier 1-2 star questions to boost confidence! I also tend to do one RC passage a day.

A lot of practice! I have time accommodations so the full exam is four hours. Even before I had accommodations (just got them recently), the best thing I could do to stay focused was to actually use that 1 minute break between sections 1 + 2 and 3 + 4 to take deep breaths, doodle, recenter, stretch, etc.

Something else that really helps is physical grounding. I'll do little taps on my face and arms to keep myself alert and attentive. Also, if you drink caffeine play around with how you time it during PTs! I try to simulate caffeine intake that I would do on test day. If it's later at night and you're caffeine sensitive, you can mimic the energizing effect with sugars and carbs.

Don't do timed sections and actually watch through all the review videos on questions you flagged or got wrong. It helps massively because even if you figured out that question, it helps set the logic pattern in my brain!

Had the same thing happen. My PTs ranged 172-176 before October on both 7Sage and LawHub platforms (so def not a tech issue) taken in many different environments and I got a 164.

Take a deep breath! I recommend giving yourself like 5 minutes to focus and chill before studying. If a question is stressing me out or confusing me, I just come back to it.

Building confidence during drilling has also been super helpful with this. I just did a bunch of untimed sections to feel good about my accuracy and then started pushing myself on timing. I've also found that drilling in busy/distracting environments has been helpful.

🙃 Confused

To apply or not to apply: that is the question

Hi all! Just got my October LSAT results and am super displease - I've been PTing 173 and up across 7Sage and LawHub (for the test platform experience) and got a 164 on the exam. This isn't my first time taking the exam and though my scores have consistently gone up, I know I have the ability to get a better score and am thinking of retesting in January.

My question is whether or not I should apply for the 2026 cycle. I have a couple T14s on my school list and the rest are Tier 1s, so almost every school on my app list is now a reach. I have a very strong GPA (3.98/4.00) and diverse experiences reflected in my statements and resume, so I'm trying to figure out what the odds are of me getting in. I know any point increase on another test would increase scholarship but I'm worried that delaying my application from November to end of January will lower my chances of acceptance and merit aid. Thoughts??

😖 Frustrated

October 2025 LSAT Scores

Hi all! Feeling kind of frustrated and down because I'm seeing/hearing about all these people getting 180s on the October 2025 LSAT and it was disproportionately hard for me. I'd been PTing and drilling and consistently getting 173s and up and had almost a 10 point decrease. I'm wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience and how they addressed it/thoughts on possible explanations for such a massive discrepancy.

Note: this is not my first test administration and I typically test SUPER well! So very very confused haha.

Recommended to start with the core curriculum and then work into drilling and PTs!

notes feature shifting and erasing text

hi! i've been having some trouble when blind reviewing (and in writing this post) where the text that i type will disappear or delete things i have already typed. where i'm typing also sometimes gets shifted (for example, if i go to add a sentence in the middle of a paragraph, i can just start typing before it deletes it all and moves my cursor to the last text character in the blurb).

i've been on multiple wifi networks and restarted network and nothing has helped.

Instead of diving into full prep tests (since they are limited) I would recommend starting to drill!

I've been having the same challenge with it making me feel like I got the answer wrong and looking at WHY it was flagged has been super helpful. The suggested BR will come up if you get the answer wrong, if you revisit it, if you spend too much time on the question, etc. I had one get flagged when it was right because I spent two seconds more than the recommended time on it. I have noticed it also flags ones that I come back to.

Understanding that BR may be recommended for a lot of different reasons has been helpful to me and like someone else said, I treat it like a fresh try. What's the harm in affirming your previous choice and taking the time to go into detail on why your choice was right and the others were wrong?
