This is my second post regarding this issue, because I really need some help here. I am studying between 4 and 8 hours everyday, and I can't seem to get above a 160. This is odd for me, as in July I was scoring up to 169s. Every practice section I do, I get between 4 and 5 questions wrong, without fail. I don't know what else to do beyond drilling and reviewing my incorrect answers. Please send help and specific tips! I take the LSAT again in less than two weeks and I cannot afford to get below a 165, and I feel like incredibly lost as to what more I can do.

One of my main issues I'm finding is that I trip myself up and move away from the correct answer often even when my gut is telling me that it was the correct answer. Something I am trying to do is trust my instincts more and remember that the LSAT isn't about trick questions. The answers are always obvious and so we should trust our process more.
You totally got it! take some time off and let your brain relax :)
I was listening to a 7Sage podcast about this issue, and it seems like it's a mindset issue. I'm taking this October test coming up, and I'm sort of going through the same thing. I think we need to remember that we know how to do this, that overwhelming ourselves with stress is only making us perform worse, and that it's ok to take a break. 4-8 hours every day, right before the test, can so easily make you burn out. Take a break, go easy on yourself, and remind yourself that you have already done all you can. The information's already in your brain. Good luck!!! 🧘♀️ ✨
I think maybe you need to take a step back first and foremost. You aren't going to perform well when you are overwhelming yourself and your brain so much. Take a day and then come back to it with fresh eyes. Worst case scenario you take the test again at a later date. When you feel refreshed again go back to the basics, review the core curriculum, and remind yourself it will all work out the way it's meant to.
