hey yall. so i think i waited too long to register for the remote test. the email says registration doesn't close until sunday, in one week, but there are no available times for any testing day.

anyone have experience with this? i called prometric and they said they'd be releasing more times tomorrow but i couldn't get any more information, just a suggestion to keep checking. which will work great as i'm at work for 10+ hours tomorrow.

i got a feeling i was just getting the brush off from prometric. so i'm wondering, has anyone been in my position? do they indeed release more available times or was that just to get me off the phone? how often should i be checking the scheduler? any advice in general?

important edit 10/27 10:13am

this morning I set up a thirty minute timer to check for more availabilities and sure enough after a couple tries i snagged my ideal time and date for a remote test.

so yes to answer my own question: keep trying!

Hey they just posted a lot more times! I was able to reschedule and I hope you can too.

I was in the same boat but after waking up early this morning and checking the scheduler at around 5-6am ET I eneded up getting the exact slot I was hoping for and there were plenty of options.

Oh no! yes, keep checking for openings since people cancel. This happened to me with my first in-person exam.

spots frequently open up as people cancel or change their tests, so trust the advice and check everyday. don't worry too much.

so the way it works for remote test scheduling for this November test, is that there are certain times/days the scheduler opens, and as you know its a first come first serve basis. According to the lsac website: https://www.lsac.org/blog/november-lsat-scheduling the scheduling window for remote won't close until Nov 2. Because this test is in high demand, it looks like they're rolling available scheduling times/dates. Unfortunately, I have to agree with Prometric's advice of "keep checking"
