How to improve on RC???

I am genuinely stuck getting half right. I don't get it, I don't know what going on. What did y'all do to improve on RC?

Assuming you've done the advice in the curriculum (really slowing down, making low- res summaries, and such), I would suggest trying to change your mindset going in if possible. I noticed improvement when I fixed my mindset. RC is not my strong suit compared to LR, because I know I am just not typically interested in the longer commitment to whatever topic. If you can hype yourself up into believing that the passage is going to be interesting, you'll retain the information better. The dread of doing RC can hold you back.

I am on this journey with RC, too. The two ways I am working to improve are by getting faster with the low-res summaries, so that they become more intuitive, and then active reading. Active reading is summarizing, questioning, and identifying the structure with the author's intent. I have been getting caught up in the details of the arguments rather than the arguments themselves. Happy studying!
