Is there a reason the study plan is not including any of the progress I have made in my analytics? Is there something I did not turn off when establishing the beta study plan tool?
I would like to be able to track progress in specific question types based on my progress in the study plan.

Your study plan will pull from your analytics in the “Practice” and “Pre-Exam” phases—those parts generate personalized practice based on your PrepTest, Section, and Drill performance.
As for tracking progress by question type, you can do that through the “Priorities by tag” tab in your Analytics. Just make sure your PrepTests, Sections, and Drills are all toggled on under “Manage which practices are included,” and your all your data—including practice from your study plan—will be reflected there.
