Hi everyone! Im realizing that im struggling quite a bit with RC. ive gone through the core curriculum and read and watched videos, so im familiar with the typical strategies employed when doing RC but I cant seem to actually implement it. when the passage is more difficult, i find it really hard to focus on the structure and whos arguing what. also, im not sure if its just me, but i dont feel like low res summaries really help me, they just eat up my time. any advice would be great, thank you!

How much reading are you doing outside of the LSAT? Also, how good is your LR generally? RC is essentially longform LR, so I’d say depending on how good your LR is, just take a bit more time with reading and also finding evidence in the text (even for implied questions) for your answer choices.

My advice: Find the Thesis sentence, and then track how it's developed through general supporting reasons.

For me that is the GOLDEN RULE of reading comprehension and given the extreme time constraints and complexity of reading on the RC section, that is the one and only strategy that should be implemented.

And it happens to work really well for just about all passages.

Just my opinion- hope it helps.
