My first score was below what I had gotten on my previous five PTs, but my second score was above what I got on my previous five PTs. There's tons of volatility on this test. It'll work in your favor at some point. In the meantime, you can raise your average PT so that a "disappointing" score is where your PT scores currently are and your upside score is well above it. Keep at it!
Not getting the score you know you're capable of sucks, and I'm sorry you're dealing with that. Take your time to mourn, avoid, or whatever it is you need to do. When you're ready, know that we're early in the testing cycle, and there's plenty of time to get your score up before applications are due. It's unfortunately really normal to get a score on the real thing that's lower than your PTs, but that doesn't mean it'll happen every time. It is not hopeless; you are not hopeless.

I got a 155 twice in a row. Just got June back and got a 164. Still taking August. It's not a sprint. You got this!
