Hey all,

not one to write anything in the discussion but seeing if anyone else has experienced this and any advice to get over the hump.

I receently "graduated" phase 1 of untimed and have been doing timed drills of 10 or so questions and have been scoring consistently decent, however, I feel when I do a full LR section I am still scoring quite low - wondering if anyone has any advice as I feel I am progressing on the drills and feel it but dont feel as great taking a section.

Hey there! There's a big mental difference between doing 10 questions and doing 26. Your brain gets tired!

It also depends on what those drills look like: if all 10 are from the same question type, you get into a rhythm. If it's mixed, then there still just aren't enough questions to account for all the different types of questions you might see on a full section. Maybe you get 100% on a 10 question drill, but there weren't any NA questions, and on your section, there were 2 NA questions you missed.

I'd also make sure that you're blind reviewing after each section you do to account for the difference between question types you understand but maybe aren't super confident on/need more time and questions that you're missing even with unlimited time.

I hope that helps! Happy studying.

You shouldn't be tired after 1 section of LR. So I don't think that's the problem. For myself, when doing PTs, after 3 full lr sections, my brain is dead, so I hope that 4th will be experimental. I think your score is lower just because more questions are harder for you. ex drill has 1 na but a full section might have 3 or 4 na. Look to see if there is a pattern in the questions you miss.
