Anyone have recommendations on the best earplugs to order and use for test day? Are they ones they allow you to use decent? I get distracted easily and want to make sure that I can do whatever possible to mitigate that. Thank you!

I found "LYSIAN Soft Foam Ear Plugs for Sleeping" on amazon. They seemed to work well

I swear by Mack's Dreamgirl soft pink! I've worn them to two official tests and I can't hear a thing. The testing rooms provided over-ear noise cancelling headphones, but they're not very good.

I use the Voisen Orange earplugs on Amazon. I use them everytime I study, take PT, etc. Good to get used to using them even before test day!
@DaisukeKaga thank you!! I wish I had ordered them sooner to try them out before this week's test... I am already registered for Sept and planning to take in Oct too so I'll make sure to start using them for studying between those tests!
I've never tested in person before, but I just use the generic brand foam earplugs at CVS and it works well! It reduces 32 dB of sound, but I think they have alternative options that are similarly priced. It was around $5-6 for 10 pairs!
when i took it they had some provided for you at the testing center. they worked decently well
@Gcastillo1513 This is what Lsac says on their website about it "In-person LSAT test takers will be assigned noise-reducing earmuffs as part of their equipment and materials. In-person test takers can only use the earmuffs assigned to them."
@Gcastillo1513 good find. I am confused now because it seemed like people in the past have been able to. I guess I'll bring them and if they don't let me use them then oh well
On test day, I thought they provided us with headphones to block out sound? Are ear plugs a specific accommodation?
@danahermit They might, I just want to be prepared in case I think theirs are shitty. I don't have any accommodations but I think anyone can bring earplugs
@nr earplugs are allowed for everyone
