When I blind review/ scrutinize a question to understand where I went wrong, I find it somewhat distracting to go back and forth from the question, pen and paper notes, and typing on my computer (particularly with grammar and conditional reasoning)
Does anyone know the tools or software JY and Kevin use when explaining questions?

I'm not sure what they use, but there are browser extensions that allow you to draw/type on your screen! I use the extension Page Marker, but I also use my iPad to screenshot questions and then edit on top of the photo.
I recommend screenshotting questions and working on it on a tablet or touchscreen.
I have a google chrome extension that I pinned on my browser, it allows you to write on the screen. it's called Page Marker.
