I like doing something light either one passage or 5 LR questions, or both! It helps me get back into the funk if you will.

It’s C. If all law students are readers, and some readers are writers, we can only know that a part of all readers are law students, we cannot know for sure whether any of those law students are writers from just that “some readers”. However, if we know that some readers are writers, then it must be true that some of the writers are readers.

@170PlusRyan Would you recommend slowing down? I usually have 10 minutes extra…

💪 Motivated

Increasing low 170s to mid or higher 170s?

I just scored a 172 on PT 158 and most of the questions I miss now come from careless mistakes or overthinking rather than understanding the material. For people who scored in the 170s on the LSAT, what helped you tighten those last few errors?

Also, if you were simulating real testing conditions and were generally a strong standardized test taker, how close was your real score to your PT average?

It took me a little while too. I’d say to remember that necessary assumption means that it is needed for the argument to work, while sufficient assumption means it guarantees the conclusion (it proves the argument).

For example, only if you have a ticket you can go on the train, so Sarah must be on the train. The necessary assumption here is Sarah must have a ticket.

Another example is, if it is raining then we can’t go outside. It’s not raining, so we will be outside. The sufficient assumption here is that if it is not raining we are always outside.

For necessary I would try to see what the argument rests on, what must be there. Sufficient I’d look at the gap and see which answer choice most logically fills it.

Question Search Bar

I was wondering if there could be a feature that would allow for us to directly search for a question in any prep test? I am using multiple tools and I like that 7Sage has the explanations/analysis for each question, but I am having trouble finding the question here if it’s not something I directly worked on here. Maybe it’s already a feature and I just haven’t found it, if so please let me know how to :) Thank you!

Wrong Answer Journal Template

Wrong Answer Template

Keeping a wrong answer journal has been the best method to address my errors and increase my accuracy. Maybe this template can help you too! At first I did not know how to organize my wrong answer journal to be effective or what I even should keep track of. If you are in the same position I was, I hope this makes your studying journey a little easier.
