Hey everyone,
I just took the August LSAT today. My GPA is super low, so I really need a low 170s score. My PTs were in the 150s, so I already know I’m definitely retaking in October.
Since I know the grind isn't over, I'd love some advice on navigating this weird in-between phase:
Rest: How do you actually relax right now knowing you have to test again?
Mindset: How do you avoid burnout and get your head right for round two?
Game Plan: How much time off should I take before diving back into prep for October?
Any tips from people who have been in this exact spot would be awesome. Thanks!

I did this before and am doing it again now. Give yourself a week or two minimum for a break then dive back in. The second time I took a month off and I feel like that was a huge mistake since getting back into the swing of things was harder after that much of a break. The break helps a ton but you also want to keep what momentum you had. The second exam was a lot less stressful since I knew what to expect. Good luck!
relax: I try to give myself a few 5 - 10 minute breaks when I feel myself getting distracted + the LSAT games is a nice little "break tool" to use. Resting is always something I have struggled with so I also have been giving myself an hour before bed where I just do self care, drink some tea (usually YOGI - stress relief) and listen to those lofi music videos to decompress. mindset: if you feel yourself getting burnout it is 100% okay to take a day of no studying. Again, something I struggled with my entire life, but it does wonders for your mental health. I would take at least a weekend off if you are feeling super burnt out. Most importantly, do not allow your score to dictate your self worth (something I also struggle with). I wish you the best! (something I really recommend is to delete any and all social media you have for at least a month, its life changing and I haven't had it for a year + (I've never felt more confident and better)
