I can definitely help you create a successful LSAT Prep plan. We would begin by establishing your current baseline and then giving you a clear, structured process for approaching both sections of the test.
For Logical Reasoning, we would first work through a consistent five-step process for every question: identify the question type and approach, read the passage accordingly, determine what the correct answer must accomplish, evaluate the choices, and commit. Once that overall process is in place, we would go back through the individual question types, reasoning concepts, and smaller mechanics in greater depth.
For Reading Comprehension, we would focus on reading the passage one sentence at a time for its Big Picture, without getting bogged down in the details, and then applying very high standards to the answer choices.
Your assignments and lessons would build directly on your progress and reveal exactly what needs to be addressed next. We could then use your actual performance, rather than guesswork, to determine whether November or January is the better testing date.
