Sept LSAT -- easier?

Am I the only delusional one that's secretly hoping the Sept LSAT is on the easier side after hearing how the August LSAT crushed a lot of people?

One way or another - to all my fellow Sept test takers -- WE GOT THIS!!!

If I don't tell myself it will be easier, I think I may explode from fear. We're all getting 170s-180!!!

I fear I thought August was pretty easy, and a lot of people I heard talking about it felt the same. So there must have been a lot of traps in it.

People usually say their first LSAT is harder because it is a newer experience, and August has some of the most first time test takers, so hence the reputation for seeming "hard." Style wise, it was no different in vibe from the PT150s. My August test felt the most like PT155. The biggest thing that helps with testing anxiety or stress is making sure to mentally frame the exam and your expectations before the test.

Is it your first LSAT? August was hard for me but I think it is due to the fact that I was so anxious because it was my first test. I am a lot more at ease and comfortable with the uncertainty in outcomes. Good luck! :)

@ilovecats170+ It's not my first but my first was over 5 years ago lol I don't get bad test anxiety though. I'm very much of the mindset that I've studied and prepped and I have other opportunities (November) if I need it. Are you satisfied with your August score and done testing or are you going to take it again?

I took the November 2025 LSAT before taking the August LSAT, and performed better on the August exam. Yes it was tough, but I didn’t see a significant difference between the two! Trust your practice, its just another exam :) YOU GOT THIS!!

After every LSAT there's people who say it was unusually hard, while there's also some who think it was easier. I think it's really more of a mental thing/test day anxiety or just where one's strengths and weaknesses lie. Stay confident throughout the test and don't get hung up on it.

Either way the tests are weighted, so if it's slightly easier than past tests the score will be weighted to reflect that. And same for if it's slightly harder.
