hi! i was wondering if there was a way to have multiple ways to drill? currently, when you do an adaptive drill, it operates as a session, so when you're done you can review how you did in this set. while this is great, it would also be nice if there was a way to continuously drill without having to submit the section, if that makes sense? like if i wanted to just drill for fun on my phone, it feels like it would be easier to just have it as an infinite session rather than it being a drill set. ty!

Could I ask why? Just want to make sure I understand the benefit you see in this. Under the current method, you can still launch into adaptive drilling and get feedback on a question by question basis, like @Adam described. The submission element is just something that would come at the end if you want to finish the session, so it seems like it doesn't affect the experience of doing an endless drill as you are going through each question. You can also see the history of questions, too.

Does it have something to do with wanting to see a full list of all questions you ever did in the adaptive drill together in a single list, rather than opening up separate drill results? Or is there something else you like?

honestly this might not make sense or i might just not be using the drill to its full potential lol. i think what i’m picturing is something closer to lsat demon’s drilling setup, where it doesn’t really feel like there’s a “session” at all. you just keep going question after question, and everything you’ve ever done sits in one running history instead of being split into separate drill results.

so i guess my thinking is less about the experience while i’m actually answering questions (you’re right that the feedback question by question is already there) and more about what happens around it. when there’s a submit step at the end, i end up mentally treating each drill as its own little set, which makes me want to “finish” it, and then my review is scattered across a bunch of separate results pages. having one continuous list would make it easier to scroll back through everything i’ve missed, spot patterns across question types over time, and come back to questions without remembering which session they were in.

but again, that might just be a me thing, and if the history view already does most of this then i’m probably overthinking it! i think it's more of an aesthetic thing and i love 7sage but like the drilling feature on lsat demon, so wish there was a way it was kind of imported here. again, might already be a thing and im overthinking it

    Hi there,

You can already do this! Before starting a drill, set the number of questions to Unlimited and toggle on “Immediate feedback” under Training mode. That way, each answer is submitted as you go, and the drill doesn’t end.

When you’re done, select “Save and exit,” and you can pick up the same drill later from the "In Process" section of your Drills page.

Let me know if you have any questions or meant something else!

hi! i meant something similar to LSAT Demon where you can just start/stop without it being a "drill," but you just go and go, then you see question history. not like a drill in that sense, but "unlimited" in that manner. not sure if that makes sense!

If you click save and exit, it will do what you are looking for. When you want to return to that session, go to drills and you'll see that you have an in progress drill you can continue.

If you don't hit save and exit, it will still let you return to it but the timer will keep ticking on the in progress question if there is one.

yeah i meant more like an unlimited way to drill that never acts like a session, so it might not make sense haha but in my head that’s what i was asking for

I'm sure you already know this but, if you didn't, you can have multiple drills in progress so that your adaptive drill could be "ongoing" and you could even start and pause other drills without losing progress in any of them.
