A lot of you asked where to do drills, sections, and PTs. You’ll find them under Study > Drills, sections, PTs.

Until a few hours ago, that tab was called “Custom practice,” and your feedback made it clear the name didn’t mean much. So we renamed it to “Drills, sections, PTs.” Hopefully that’s clearer.

Some of you also mentioned it now takes more clicks to get where you want to go. I want to understand that better. Under the old menu, you clicked once to open the Study submenu and again to pick your destination. Under the new navigation, it’s also two clicks: Study, then Drills, sections, PTs. That said, I recognize it’s not exactly the same. Before, the second click was instant. Now you have to wait for the Study page to load and then find the next thing to click.

What we gained with this change: Analytics now has its own top-level spot in the menu, Games now lives under Study where it belongs, and drills, sections, and PTs are combined into one more compact view instead of three separate pages.

Please keep the comments and suggestions coming! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ I’m reading every single one. Thank you!

For reference, part 1 is here.

Personally I find the drop-down menu better cause it allowed me to find what I'm looking for faster. The problem with the new set-up is now I first have to click Study and wait for the Study page to load, then I have to click Drills and wait for that page to load.

So while both the old and new format have 2 clicks, the problem is that it still takes longer because 2 separate pages have to load. And I've experienced where my 7sage site is slow and takes a long time to load. So this feels more inconvenient.

The search option while good, doesn't solve the problem of what if I don't remember the name of what I'm looking for? The drop-down menu helps me see all the resources and options that 7sage has without having to employ memory to recall it.

I do like that Analytics is at the top, the menu titles are great, I just wish the dropdown would come back.

Thanks for being committed to improvements, I hope you'll consider this feedback.

100% agree!! I think this makes the UI a bit less intuitive, especially for people who like to drill on mobile. I found it especially hard to navigate

I appreciated having the 25th and 75th percentile right answer selection on each individual question's analytics. Only showing the median does not provide enough information, especially on those curve breaker questions where the spread is often wide.

Is there a way to take prep tests untimed so that it doesnt kick you off once the timer is up?

It’s weird to have admissions be a dropdown but limit that functionality for study IMO, I like the quick action of going to drills from the top bar better

now their all smashed together taking longer to navigate, and the next screen means jumping through more screens where before it just took us to drills or practice tests... this seems like more hoops to jump through, like when LSAC ditched the eyeball at the end to easily click something off, now its a 3 step process, click it on / select / click it off
