Northwestern Interview

Hello good people of 7Sage. I'm preparing to do the Northwestern Kira interview and I'm wondering if there is an angle I should be taking when answering these questions. Each online resource (including this one) confirms that they ask "Why Northwestern" and "Why law school," but these are essentially the same questions as their essays. Are we supposed to say something different? Summarize? What's the deal?

Thanks in advance!

If you answered these questions in your app, it's alright to make reference to that ("So, I talked about this a little bit in my app...") and then give an executive recap of things. The reasons don't have to line up exactly. But if you wrote about "Chicago outcomes, corporate law, looking smashing in purple" in your application, you probably want to at least briefly touch on each of those in your Kira response.

It should also be said that there are some things that are easier to explain verbally versus in writing. If you have any of those things, now would be a good time to bring them out!

@JacobBaska Thank you Jacob! So if I talked about reasons 1, 2, and 3 in my Why Northwestern essay I should mention those (meaning I probably wouldn't have time to talk about other things)?

*PS I do look smashing in purple

@Epicness If I were you, I would keep things simple in my prep and just touch on each of those points - 1, 2, and 3. If you feel like you have material to expand on one of those points with things that weren't in your app, then add them in.

It's pretty wild to consider that Justin Jefferson has played his entire adult like in the same purple/white/yellow color scheme. More people should do the LSU-to-Minnesota thing.
