Hi everyone! I took the October LSAT, and I am signed up for the November test.

I've completed the Foundations, LR, and RC modules, and I'm currently working through practice blocks. However, with the practice blocks, I do not feel like I am learning much. I feel like I'm just drilling questions over and over without improvement. I'm blind-reviewing/journaling any questions I get wrong.

I know I won't know my October score until 10/28, but what's the best way to study to improve my understanding/score in the time I have between now and the November LSAT? What would be the best way to pick up 1-2 extra points?

Thanks!

If you feel like drilling and the basic review is getting repetitive, you can try going for depth instead of breadth. Instead of journaling a note or two for wrong answers, really hone in on tough questions. Write a proof explaining the stimulus and convincing others why the right answer must be right. Then, write what made the wrong answers wrong. Then, watch the 7Sage videos on it/people's comments. And analyze the optimal way to have gotten the answer under timed conditions. Essentially, become an expert on the question that you struggled with. I'd recommend trying this out, but don't cast aside all the methods that have gotten you this far.

I am not a tutor, so take this with a grain of salt, but I am using this time to hone in on my weaknesses that 7sage has identified in the priority section and that I personally felt tripped me up during the Oct exam (timing/confidence with RC, must be true questions, weakening, etc.). Best of luck!

@squirrellover Thanks for the advice! I thought about doing this too. I'm just worried that'll somehow mess with my overall performance.

@TristanGaebler may I ask in what way would it mess with it? do you feel like you would lose your touch with the other question types? you can still sprinkle those in with drills (that's what I do). also, you won't forget how to do the other ones when push comes shove
