i literally wrote the same "directional proportional" in my notes too because i got it wrong for the same reason lol !!
i thought that it was trying to show how that when the human indicators were applied to nations how they turn out, hence, "summarize the argument made in the 1st 2 paragraphs. "
looking at it now, it not summarizing, its showing how when applied what actually happens to those nations.
also, there is new policies in the last paragraph, it brings about new information that wasn't discussed in the paragraphs above so its NOT a summary !! urggg
note to self: read the entire sentence that it is referring to to get a clear understanding of what the sentence structure is. LOL
wow, i predicted that this is what was happening and still picked the wrong answer :/
i think the "implication of that belief" is what threw me off.
okay so the way i got to this answer was eliminating A,B&E right of the bat only because of the word "than". for me those re not similar because the stimulus didn't really say that one thing is more or less THAN something else.
can anyone tell me if thats a right analysis? or did i just get lucky?
wowww... i needed to make that distinction that the fishing guide and the recent studies are 2 seperate entities !!!! this question becomes so much easier if i had connected these dots.
