Here’s a Q&A for you.
How can I find the old (classic) site?
Just type classic.7sage.com into your browser instead of 7sage.com. Note the “classic” at the front of the url.
How long will the classic site continue to work?
We plan to maintain the Classic site until at least 2026.
What’s the difference between the old site and the new site?
You're here, aren't you? Click around and find out! The headline is that the new site has a cleaner design, more explanations, better analytics, a ton of new features, and countless small improvements to help you reach your goal score faster.
Can I transfer my subscription on the classic site to this site?
Yes! Head on over to our billing page: https://7sage.com/users/settings/billing. If you see a button to transfer your subscription, click it! If you see a button to reach out to student service… do that! ( We can't auto-transfer all subscriptions.)
If I transfer my subscription to this site, will I still have access to the classic site?
Yes! You will still have access to the classic site until you stop subscribing or until the end of 2025—whichever comes sooner.
Can you transfer my data (analytics, etc.) from the old site to this one?
Not yet, but we're working on it. The most important data is PrepTest data, and you can already manually import those to new 7Sage. It takes about 4 minutes per manual PT import. Go here:
https://7sage.com/users/settings/practice/import/manual
In approximately 4-6 weeks (hoping for 4!), I expect that we'll have built a way to automatically import 3-digit PrepTest data from classic to new 7Sage.
In another 4-6 weeks, we should have a way to automatic import of 3-digit drilling data from classic to new 7Sage.
Should I switch to this site?
If you’re just starting out or if you don’t have a lot of analytics on the old site, yes, you should definitely switch to this site.
If you have a ton of analytics on the classic site—say, more than two PrepTests worth, or more than 40 drills—you might want to stick to the classic site.

How can you transfer your lesson process from 7sage classic to the new 7sage?
@RowanGroom You'll have to do that manually by checking off the lessons here that are complete.
I'm new to the new 7 Sage website and am wondering where to build my study schedule, as I was able to on the classic 7 Sage website. Is there a study schedule function on the new site?
@AlexandraBakjain You can't right now. It's coming in late July / early August.
How to delete drills?
@BlkelleWoods https://7sage.com/review/drills scroll down, click the three dots next to the drill you want to delete.
The new site looks and feels great! Just some really minor, nitpicky feedback:
It would be really cool to be able to edit notes we've taken on specific questions instead of creating new notes on the same question. Sometimes I like to jot down thoughts during blind review. Then of course I like to do wrong answer journal. Finally, sometimes I add notes after watching the explanation. I get that I can do all of that with the current functionality, but sometimes I just want to edit the note, like if I want to correct a typo or other error. Simply adding a new note to the same question just isn't the same. I'd rather my notes feel like a document than a text conversation. Is this functionality that could be added at some point, even if largely cosmetic? I appreciated that functionality in 7sage classic :)
In that same vein, can the little button that inserts the Wrong Answer Journal template be brought back? That was a nice feature to have.
Finally, but completely unrelated, I'd love to be able to log in with a password that can be saved in my browser's password manager, especially when the new site is so quick to sign me out after a period of inactivity compared to the old. I understand emailed link is more secure, but it's also kind of a buzzkill lol.
@Rgschrader2 Notes during BR, editable notes, and WAJ template are all coming soon!
Password login is coming soon too!
@J.Y.Ping Oh sweeet, thanks for the good news :)
Hi, I'm having a bit of trouble with some of the new features/design on the new website... Is there a discussion page for feedback?
Ie. when watching explanation videos after completing drills, any time I toggle the left/right arrow keys hoping to move 5 seconds forward or backwards in the video, I am instead brought to the question to the 'left' or 'right' ('previous' or 'following' question) in the drill... is there a way I can fix this on my own or is this just a new feature part of the website ? Thanks !
Also, will core curriculum data be included in the automatic imports you mentioned will take place in 4 weeks? (like the records of what modules we've completed, which lessons we've starred/flagged, and what new videos/lessons have been added that we have yet to complete/review. It would be nice to be able to see which videos and lessons we've starred on the classic site directly on the new site)
@igioannini "J" "K" and "L" are the keyboard shortcuts for controlling the video player. We are working on adding left/right arrows as keyboard shortcuts too.
You can manually sync your CC progress on this site to the classic site. It's a bit of a pain in the butt but you can do it in probably 20 mins.
@J.Y.Ping Thanks so much for your response! I appreciate the info. Last thing -- will the "background noise" feature (university, coffee shop...) eventually make its way onto the new site or stay with the old? I’ve only come to realize just how much I used it now that it’s gone lol.
@igioannini That's on our roadmap but it's pretty far down so I don't know how long it'll take. I liked it too, especially the profanity one. It's like training for a marathon with ankle weights.
I can't figure out how to do blind review? When I answer all of the questions in a drill, my options are to completely change answers or complete the drill. But then when I complete the drill, it tells me I didn't do blind review, without ever having given me the chance. What am I missing???
@LaurelMorgan Here's how you can Blind Review: https://www.loom.com/share/1bb6d3b6cc584ac8b0e70621f590a5fd
If you're asking about the You Try lessons, those don't have Blind Review because they are already untimed.
How do we blind review on this website? I only see the option to submit the drill or exit and save progress. And is there way we can see all of our notes on one page like on the classic site?

It says I need to pay a fee now before I switch my subscription to the new website. Is this an additional charge onto my account for switching?
@Ibrahim.Abdille1 Sorry, that's confusing. What transferring billing does is to push back the next date on which you get billed again. You get charged a prorated fee based on how far back the next billing date gets pushed.
I don't know when you last paid but let's pretend that you last paid on June 6. That would mean that you were paid up through July 6 (a month). If you transfer today, June 23, the next date that you'll get billed again is July 24. The difference between July 6 (original next billing date) and July 24 (new next billing date) is the extra days that the prorated fee is for.
Where is the study schedule on the new site?
@MilesVogel I am also looking for this!
@SkylaMiller @MilesVogel It doesn't exist yet but we're working on it and it's going to be great. I'm expecting late July / early August release.
Is there any difference in the core curriculum we have access to on the new site? I just started the logic of intersecting sets on the old site and was wondering if there is anything I should go back to that has been improved or changed or if all the videos are the same. Thank you!
@dreph25 No difference! Expect that this new site will be the only one receiving updates.
Hello I need help transferring my subscription from the old website to this one. I am clicking on the link, but I do not see the transfer subscription button or the 'Contact Student Services' option. Can I get some help with this????
@Funky_Scholar Please contact studentservice@7sage.com and we'll help you with the transfer.
hi there! to clarify, do we have access to the old site until we stop subscribing to the new site or the end of 2025? Or do I need to stop subscribing to the old site to avoid paying twice? Thanks so much!
@anjjredd Great question. If you transfer your subscription, you retain access to the old site until you EITHER stop subscribing OR the new year—whichever happens first. E.g., you'll lose access at the end of 2025 even if you maintain your subscription. If you cancel on October 1st, 2025, you'll lose access then.
If you transfer, you won't be billed twice.
@David_Busis when I go to transfer my subscription it says I would be charged today in addition to my monthly subscription I already have set up. How do I change this?
@SammieJo It's telling me this to. Did you ever get an answer? I'd like to avoid double paying if possible...
@SammieJo @lmanigo Sorry, that's confusing. But we're not double charging you.
