They seem far simpler than the newer ones.
The newer tests have a ton of abstract language (or so it seems to me) than older tests.

Nothing wrong with taking older PTs but make sure to take a good amount of recent PTs towards the end of your prep since they are more representative of what to expect on test day. Beware though with some of the older PTs especially those from the early 90s, they can contain some funky LG types that have disappeared over the years.
