I can open the PDF docs on my iphone but not on my tablet. It's a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. Is there something I need to do, or is the tablet just not capable of opening the docs? Anybody know?

I have a Galaxy Tab and I can open it through Adobe.
Try opening other PDFs. I can open them on my windows surface tablet just fine. Might be that you've got a random bad file that won't open (corrupted in downloading or something so try re-downloading or opening another known good PDF) or it could be that you don't have a PDF viewer on your tablet yet. There are about a gazillion in the Google Play store, find one with a bunch of good reviews that doesn't ask for creepy permissions (why would a PDF reader need your GPS?) and download it. One of those should do the trick.
