So around July I will be done with the CC, and I plan on testing in October. I also know that I may not finish every PT that is available right now, but which PT would you recommend me to start from? should I start with the older PT's or just the newer ones (141-158)?

Thank you in advance!

Do the new PrepTests allow you to do blind review? Also, are these all brand new unused questions or where did they come from? I used 7Sage for well over a year to study prior to the new LSAT format but I took a break for a few months, now I am confused about what test questions I should be using for drills and which I should be using for full practice tests.

hi! as the title indicates, i've done 3 PTs and went from a 166 to a 173, and then back down to a 167. i know studying more doesn't guarantee higher scores, but i was disappointed because i felt like i was on the up-and-up, lmao!

from your experience studying, what is this kind of fluctuation indicative of? and do you have any tips for scoring consistently at your target? i really appreciate any insight, i'm getting a bit in my head about this so i imagine being grounded by the community would be helpful!

Hello!

I recently took PT138 from the August 2024 and later tab and noticed an LR section completely overlapped with one I had taken with a logic game (PT60). Assuming the new tests are randomly distributing an experimental RC or LR section to keep the test at 4 sections, is there is any way we can block or substitute the extra section if we already took it?

(i.e. PT138 pulls three sections from the Dec 2012 exam and 1 from June 2010 (which in this case I already took); can we substitute that June one with a section from a different exam or just block it entirely?)

Is this normal?

I have been looking at the LSAT for many months probably couple years on and off due to work, etc. It still takes me half a day to complete one LR section and I still get -8 wrong. I don’t intend to stop studying though. I feel like a turtle in the race. Thank you for reading.

Hey yall - I noticed a big discrepancy in my PT scores when grading my tests via the grader function on the 7sage app (from google play if that matters) vs when I use the actual website analytics page. The grader function usually shows a higher score than the analytics. Wondering if the grader function on the app is based off of old score conversions? or if my analytics page is not using the modern scaling (it says it does but not entirely sure)? Help! Thanks.

should i be doing PTS

Should I be doing PTs throughout doing the curriculum or just be doing drills and wait until I have finished all the curriculum and learned the question types before starting to PT. I don't want to be wasting time or resources doing PTs if it doesnt make sense to do them until ive finished the curriculum, or should I still be doing them regardless

7Sage loading slow

Hello,

I currently have a problem where my computer lags when I do the drill sets, and it often freezes for a minute or so. I think it's because there are so many comments that it has trouble processing it. I already tried clearing the cache and cookies, and it didn't work. I'm wondering if there's a way for me to minimize the comments or collapse it momentarily so I can finish the drill sets. Thanks

Have you ever found yourself grappling with a complex idea, struggling to understand its intricacies? Whether you're a student tackling a difficult subject or a professional trying to grasp a new concept, simplifying complex ideas can be a game-changer. Fortunately, there's a systematic approach you can follow to break down even the most intricate concepts into manageable chunks. In this article, we'll explore a four-step guide to simplifying complex concepts effectively.

Step 1: Grasp the Core Idea

Every complex concept has a core idea at its heart. Your first task is to identify and understand this central concept. Start by breaking down the concept into its simplest form. What is it trying to explain or convey? What problem does it solve? Once you grasp the core idea, you'll have a solid foundation to build upon.

LSAT retake decision

Hello,

I am looking for advice. My current plan is to apply early for the upcoming law school cycle and work for a year in-between. I just graduated with my undergrad in engineering at a gpa of 3.6 but I am worried about improving my lsat score, my first lsat was in November and I got a 166. I retook it in April and got a 167. I'm wondering if taking the lsat for a 3rd time is a good decision , my current motivation is a at an all time low after getting such a small increase.

Help, just getting started

Every time I go to the preptest section all that comes up is a list of the tests, and when I click on one it only shows me the answer/bubble document but not the actual questions. I am just getting started. Do I need to purchase the course then i will have access? Is there a seperate tab i need to have opened while taking the pretests. I am just a little confused.

Recently, some students have been having trouble connecting their 7Sage accounts to LawHub Advantage. You may see a message on the Syllabus page that says, "Sorry, your account failed to connect with LSAC."

If you've been affected by this, we can help get your account up and running. Reach out to us via the chat icon on the lower-right-hand corner of your screen, or email us at studentservice@7Sage.com.

UPDATE JUNE 5: We're working on this issue with LSAC! In the meantime, we've given all our users temporary access. You may get an error message which you can ignore, but you should be able to access PTs and drills.
