Thank you so much everyone! I feel really encouraged :D Trying not to freak out or say something stupid in the interview lol... @danielznelson160 it's on Friday at 9am, would appreciate positive energy and vibes!!
@nessak130467.k13.0 thanks! I'm going to work on that now!
@476.rizeq @danielznelson160 Thanks guys!! Yeah people have been saying that it's supposed to be really relaxed and just more of an attempt to put a name to a face. I appreciate the good vibes and positive energy!
Yep, that was the case for me. Scored 5 points lower the first time and 3 points lower the second. I've never had issues with test taking until the LSAT so it's pretty demoralizing.
Don't! Almost all the T14 law schools ask if you've taken any interruptions in your education and saying that you took a semester off for the LSAT will undoubtedly make you look really bad.
Thanks for sharing! Just solved it-- so much fun!!
For your own convenience I would suggest PDF as word is more susceptible to having issues with formatting whereas you'll never have that with PDF.
@stepharizona288 yeah after doing them I'm glad I have them. Just doing final edits as we speak!!
So on a serious note, how many of these scholarships could we feasibly apply to without looking shady? I mean yeah I want to be a legal scholar and I also want to work in public interest, but idk if applying to both those programs would be overkill? What do you guys think?
At this point I've already self selected the ones I'll apply to. I mean who am I kidding I'm definitely never going to want to work in cyber security lol. But some seem a little more feasible than others.

@476.rizeq hahahaha no UMich made my day better :D @gregoryalexanderdevine723 they sent me an email saying: "if thinking about LSAT scores makes you feel anxious or stressed out, then please enjoy this whimsical winter-themed cat video:
"
Why does NYU require like 5 extra essays???? :'(
After a grueling study regime, writing 30 drafts of my personal statement, and sitting the LSAT twice, I cannot bring myself to complete my freaking applications. I've sent in most of them but NYU's scholarship essays are killing me -.- I've been staring at my LSAC screen for two weeks now willing myself to write the extra scholarship essays :'(
Be careful with the modifications! After reading pages and pages of statements a small difference does stick out a lot. I've been doing 1.9 spacing, Garamond font (best thing ever), and 11 font.
I'm going to be out of town from the 2nd onwards (I go to school in Boston and I have a Winter term class on the ICC) but I could probably start in Feb.
Idk what the consensus is but weekdays work better for me!
Definitely agree with above posters, doing too much will only distract you from addressing the issues you need to be focusing on. I'd say 1-30 the LG would be worth doing as drills but tbh you're better off restricting your PTs and spending all your time mastering concepts.
Another piece of advice I would give is to mix up your PTs. If you go in consecutive order or even do like 40-45 in one shot, you end up getting used to a particular style of LSAT and that's not a good idea. I did all of the LSATs consecutively and really struggled later. I ended up mixing them up, like 50-60-70,51-61-71, and that's definitely a better approach.
I might! Depends on the Dec LSAT -- let's talk after scores come out.
Finishing up with finals, watching endless Netflix to "motivate" myself. Idk if it's Stockholm syndrome or what but I kinda miss the LSAT. I spent so much time on it that it feels like something is missing haha
Yeah, I'm doing my masters right now and it's definitely been a challenge. I try to wake up around 6-7, get to a library and either take a PT or do some LSAT studying every morning. After I go to my first class the day just becomes a blur and I can't focus on LSAT later on in the day anyway so I almost never get to do LSAT work unless I get my morning session in. I have a fellowship so I'm not working this semester thankfully -- work + grad school + LSAT would be horrific. Overall, it's doable if you manage your time efficiently.
The Practice!!! It's the BEST SHOW EVER!! You guys NEED to watch it if you haven't. It's about a criminal defense law firm and is soooo thought provoking
Same thing happened to me, but I assume it's because they probably can't really do anything to stop it. I mean they're not about to start patting people down. It was annoying since I didn't have my phone and couldn't call anyone to pick me up but I don't really care what anyone else does tbh.
@7sagestudentservices yessssss!! That's not the one I did terrible in. So just remembering stuff now, RC had the Great Migration of African Americans from the South to the North in 1915 (super interesting passage), how Rawls theory of justice differs from utilitarianism, and I will update on the last two when I remember. Overall RC was really easy.
LR was also decent. The questions I remember are on caterpillars (wtf LSAC enough with this) and will also update as I remember.
I'm the first one to finish!!! Wooo!! WHICH WAS THE REAL LG??? I want to cry -- did so badly in one of them.
The real RC is the one with Rawls theory of justice!!
@austinbrumbaugh504.brumbaugh The EXACT same thing is happening to me and I want to just cry. Or scream. Or something. I hate the idea of having wasted hours and hours and hours of my life on this test and it slipping through my fingers because I studied TOO FREAKING HARD.
We should have a burnout support group.
Thank you so much for the support everyone!! I had it yesterday and it went pretty smoothly I think, let's hope I didn't say anything stupid without realizing it haha. I'll update the interview thread with what they asked!
