Great info!
(I'm seething internally because there is no way this word should be inclusive of all, English is a bunch of languages in a trench coat waiting for us all in a dark alley, searching for our moments of weakness)
Looks like I have some new memorizing to do!
my engineer / math brain doesn't particularly like this notation (however, I believe I understand the purpose.)
A question remains for me. Are we to assume that X is the lowest divisible object type in our argument (i.e. Luke being a 'person', or empire state building being a 'monument/location')?
The reason I ask is, why not label L -> J? is it because we assume Luke will not be broken down further (i.e. into midichlorian and non midichlorian anatomical parts)?
@astrysk if you're asking for a meaning of the words. Basically glacial periods are when glaciers cover large portions of the earth (ice ages). Interglacial is a warm period when we are not in an ice age (i.e. like right now).
The earth has gone through many cycles of glacial (ice age) and interglacial (warmer temperature) periods throughout its millions of years of existence.
I think my main takeaway from this exercise is not to get every detail perfect (i.e. not identifying every single referential / pronouns / etc.) but to get accustomed to seeing how they are interwoven in COMPLEX ways into sentences.
A big part of the test seems to be knowing how and in what ways they are going to try and trap us or mix us up.
