For A, does it not confuse kinds of things (species of amphibians) with things that are of those kinds (all amphibians). It is confusing the increase of number of species with an increase in total number of amphibians? I had originally answered E and I see how that is correct, but A also seems correct to me.

💪 Motivated

I just scored a 175 on PT158.

I just scored a 175 on PT158.

I saw the post about this new feature and wanted to test it out. I feel pretty good about my LSAT progress so far, I have been working at it for a month or so and this is my fourth or fifth PrepTest I think. The main question/advice I am looking for is how to get past those level 5 difficulty questions? No matter how hard I try, they seem to be guaranteed wrong when I complete the test. Not struggling too much with the other difficulties though.

What confuses me on this question is that I was looking for justification that officer > direct vote. At least, to me it looks like that is what the support is saying and I was looking to justify why officer > direct vote. Only C does that. Is E not completely unhelpful? Even if E is true, it doesn't help at all support the idea that officers are a better way to decide matters that direct vote.

I normally understand SA questions, but for this one I feel like the passage pretty clear says already that any object that fulfills the purpose of art qualifies as art. It says it in the last two sentences, without an assumption needed right? I suppose I need to pretend I am really dumb with this questions sometimes haha.

The word AND is in identical positions for the stimulus and answer choice A. (Between the two conditions). The only difference I can notice at all is the word ONLY in the stimulus that is missing in A. Otherwise, the logic is identical between the two. Maybe I am understanding this wrong, but I don't feel like the Explanation helped much here.
