I read the written lessons when I'm not fully grasping the video - the change in format plus actively reading vs passive listening helps. Sometimes there's small differences in the video vs text lesson. Would say if you understand the concept from the video alone you're good skimming or skipping the text.

🙃 Confused

Possible retake?

This may just be my nerves and lack of confidence talking. I took the LSAT this morning and am unsure how I did. My last few PTs have ranged from 154-159 with my highest BR in low 160s. My goal was a 160, but I’ll be content and decline a retake if I score at least a 158. Should I continue studying before knowing my score or pick up again once I get the score on the 26th? The next test dates are for January I think. Any opinions/advice appreciated.

Edit: Is January LSAT too late for applications? Would that just delay me until next cycle?

I absolutely take notes while going through the Foundations / Core Curriculum. I don't take notes on every little thing, but for example I made a table with the Lawgic translation group indicators, valid argument forms, and random things I struggled with (negation, quantifiers, etc). If I found that something in the lessons just stuck and I was doing good on the questions I didn't bother taking notes.

Hi Teresa! I completed the trainer and I've used both the LR and RC bibles. Of course, I also completed the CC here in 7s. From my experience, I would recommend to focus on 7s and use the other sources as supplements when you feel you don't fully understand a concept. I say this because 7s is really comprehensive and teaches you fundamentals. Other sources are not as in depth when it comes to LR. For RC the Bible is amazing. I did those chapters and followed up with Bailey's live reding comp intro classes to really start scoring well and feeling like I was starting to understand the passages more.

10/10. I wish these were available while I was reviewing!! but I just tried the MC to polish up and try to tighten up a question type before the exam day and it helped review without having to go over the foundations portion and the LR question type portion separately. Helped me see some patterns I was missing.

This is a game changer one month out. Tells me exactly where I need to be putting my energy to fine tune things before exam day.

Is there a drill set or specific questions to practice with quantifiers? This is one area where I struggle a lot.

Is it correct to diagram Q5 as:

/(kittens -m-> homes w child) ?

It is not the case that most kittens adopted yesterday went to homes with children?

Confirm action

Are you sure?
