🙃 Confused

New England Law | Boston

Does anyone have any insight on New England Law? I got an 85% scholarship which I was thrilled about, but the more I read into it it seems people are deeming it predatory. This is the first yes I have gotten, but any insight would really help. I feel like this big of a scholarship is too big to pass up.

@THS congratulations! I’ve had 2 schools that rejected me initially decide to move me to their waitlist. Sitting at 4 waitlists, 2 rejections, and 1 where I never got a decision still. Waiting game is brutal but if only takes one!

@marchagu I stopped focusing on practice tests as a whole, and started doing 1 timed section a day, and review thoroughly afterwards. 1 week was all RC, the next was all LR. Once I was scoring consistently on those, I felt more confident knowing the test itself would be about endurance rather than my actual understanding. Definitely would mix in practice tests here and there, but they destroyed my confidence leading up to my Jan exam so I stayed away completely when I started up studying again in February

@j_w180 yes, it’ll say you chose to cancel your score, but it won’t say what the score you canceled was

150s is great, if you decide to take it again, I would suggest buying the “cancel score” so if it’s not any better, it won’t be viewable. At the very least, you will be able to say you tried!

😊 Happy

Don’t give up!

Hey everybody, a few months back I made a post about how I was applying with my 146 LSAT and hoping for the best and would keep you guys updated. Fast forward, I got rejected and waitlisted from every school I applied to, felt defeated, and on the last day to sign up, signed up for the April 11 LSAT.

The reason I’m writing this is because I’ve been so down on myself the past few months thinking that it was pretty hopeless for me to get in anywhere or to drastically improve my score enough in such a short amount of time to make a difference for this admission cycle. This morning I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I just received my 154 LSAT score (8 point improvement!!) and I’m thrilled to be able to send out letters of continued interest.

It may seem impossible, but keep on working. This program really helped me stay focused and improve my score drastically. I hope I could serve as some point of motivation for someone who feels their LSAT score is way too low, I improved mine this much in a matter of two months, you can do this!

I needed a platform to share my excitement, because no one in my life really understands how much this means to me, or understands how big of a jump in score this really is. Wishing you all the best on your own journeys!

Update: I just got two acceptances, one of them offering a scholarship of $160,000. Let this be a reminder ALL OF YOU CAN DO THIS

Don't take a bunch of practice tests, focus on sections, and try to take a practice test once every 1-2 weeks. Consistency in the sections>>worrying about test scores. You got this!

I am actually really happy I saw this and I will give you my complete honest answer. I took the LSAT in January of 2026 with undiagnosed ADHD. Test was January 11th, got my ADHD diagnosis 2 days later. Got a 146 on my LSAT and was crushed. Decided to register again with accommodations after applying and getting waitlisted/denied from everywhere, and now that I am taking practice sections with time-and-a-half accommodations, I have my test April 11th and am consistently scoring each section, and most importantly, can finally FINISH each section. My original strategy for the first time through was "ok, try to answer the first 16-18 questions with 100% accuracy and then you can guess on the last 6-8 since you can't get yourself to finish in time" (which is a terrible strategy and I was not scoring 100% accuracy on my attempts anyway). I want to save you the stress I allowed myself to feel. Get your diagnosis. I am not even taking meditation, but having that extra time is making me significantly more confident in my studies. I wish you the best. You got this!

Waitlist

Just got waitlisted from my top school (Suffolk Law School). What are the odds I get admitted from the waitlist?

@HannaWallace hey Hannah! Do you mind sharing where you applied to? I’m applying to places with median LSAT around 152-154 range, but I will definitely keep this thread updated!

@hanschoi nothing yet, all the schools I’m applying to say it takes 4-8 weeks for a decision. I’ll keep the tread updated! Thanks for asking!

🫣 Scared

Here goes nothing

Going to be completely transparent, as an application, I have no idea where I stand. LSAT:146, GPA:3.70, plenty of work experience throughout college, current job I work I deal largely with the legal team and contracts. Going to apply with this score and hope for the best. Wish me luck, Hopefully I can come back to this post as someone who was able to get an acceptance to provide hope to anyone who feels like a bad LSAT score is the end of the world.
