I chose E cuz everything else was wrong. But E could be wrong too.
stim says "air is COMPLETELY replenished" .. so if its 30 min / 1 hr / 1.5 hr, etc, it resets back to zero.
So 1980 flight, .5/1hr refresh = 0% carbon dioxide, with less build up in between
2020 flight, 1hr refresh only = 0% carbon dioxide, with more build up in between
E- the LEVEL of carbon dioxide in the cabin is lower than today .. incorrect cuz its both 0% at the two hour mark
but i imagined LSAT isnt getting that deep in the weeds and none of the other answers was right.
When an applicant’s numbers are slightly below a school’s medians, what specific things in the application can realistically move the file from ‘maybe’ to ‘admit,’ and what kinds of personal statements or soft factors do admissions officers tend to discount as less persuasive?
I ruled out "B" due to "entering" the atmosphere, made it sound like coming from out of space. not "already created in the atmosphere"
Why would we assume Mullen is rich? The stimulus doesnt say that. I own IBM stock, that doesnt mean I am rich. "large profits" doesnt mean you are rich.
Another question where we have to make assumptions, BUT NOT TOO MANY ASSUMPTIONS
I see 47% of you are not TRUE GAMBLERS cuz this was obvious to anyone who plays mega millions
D supports the hypothesis cuz its proves that there is in fact cosmic rocks in earths atmosphere.
"any creature" =/= "any mammal" - wtf so insects too? that's not what Jeff is saying? Jeff only speaks of mammals. That answer would be wrong on any other question
The logical chain for D makes way more sense.
hard disagree on "D" - something can be OVERAMBITOUS AND QUICK TO EXECUTE
Storming the castle as peasents to overthrow king = ambitious
the door was left unlocked so it happened quickly
I wrote off B, because a star could of launched away from the explosion site, which supports the theory that supernovas produce neutron stars
I picked E, because that could have an alternative explanation on why there are neutron stars
I didnt choose B - because "talking on the cell phone" doesnt mean someone is having a conversation. They could be recording themselves into notes. We don't know a conversation is being placed.
I was down to B and D ....
B i thought didnt weaken it, cuz vitamin C "tend to be healthier" its not saying its the ONLY way to be healhier....
D i thought "reduce slightly" resistance vs "significantly lower" in stimulus = all else equals = Vitamin C is still good.
I went with D because i thought it weakened it MORE than B.
but I could see LSAT writers 50/50 picking either and explaining why their version was more right.
I thought B "could be true" because the environment COULD be unique. The challenges of that environment COULD be unique to that environment.
@LowriThomas but how do we know small tornados exist? the stimulus did not tell us, nor did the AC. How do we know we just don't have large and medium? It appears ASSUMING there is small is doing work for the AC. Which we are told not to do
The stimulus saying "tornados reported annually more than doubled since 1950s" ... the C saying its reporting is constant???
E isn’t supported tho cuz maybe at year 15 they do become big enough. It’s saying protection will never lead to it which isn’t true
i ruled out B, because - products would be purchased anyways without the direct mail advertisements - i thought that meant they would have to go to the store to buy them?
being rude doesnt "foster a perception that they do not really care" .. someone can be rude to me and i dont say they dont care. maybe they care so much that the appear rude
they expect us to finish this question in 1:20 but to read the explanation takes 7 minutes alone
Agreed with another comment. "sharp decrease in sales" ok? but how much of a decrease? 10%? what if thats still more than milk?
