Why is it acceptable to make the assumption that if a place is not uncomfortable then it is comfortable? Since we don't know how this speaker defines these terms, wouldn't it be unreasonable to assume there is no possibility that a place could be neither comfortable nor uncomfortable (e.g. simply neutral) to the speaker? How do we know when it's ok to make assumptions like this vs not?
