I was between D and E.

For D, I liked everything despite "developed programs". So, I eliminated the answer choice.

But, after re-reading E I thought the language "inherent contradiction" and "eschewing the influences of the majority culture" were too strong to depict the author's sentiment.

This question was a reminder to choose the best answer even if it's not what I would write myself. In this example, the case for D is much easier to reasonably make than that of E.

How to not feel discouraged and lost.... I've been studying for a while (this calendar year) and received a lower score than my first attempt. I'm registered for November and seen a increase in my timed section scores since September (yay!), but worried that I won't have enough runway to perform in November or that I should extend my timeline into next year/apply next cycle although I would prefer not to.

I am lost.

Ugh! I did not create a contrapositive using the first two facts because I did not think I could equate, difficult to easy. I thought I could only contrapose difficult to be not difficult.

Can someone please explain why D is incorrect here? I recalled, from the core curriculum that to strengthen a phenom-hypo question we could rely on an analogous situation ... in this case, since humans were mentioned in the first sentence I thought it would be a relevant counter-example to strengthen this argument

How were we sure it was correlation/causation? When I initially did this question, I thought the flaw was trying to call "greater frequency of illness" and "not unhealthy" as the same thing.

How do we know what part of the stimulus will be included in my diagramming?

Yes, in this situation, the first sentence does not have conditional language. Is that the only reason why we exclude?

How am I able to tell what parts of the stimulus should be diagrammed? I also diagrammed what was in the explanation but also added an additional support line /Reveal identity -> /false information

Tutor/Strategy Question - If I follow this thought process and am left with both D & E because of process of elimination. Is it recommended to just select D & move on because I know E is so far out of scope? Or, should I actually validate D within the passage to confirm?

Going back to a previous example of NYC -> USA... if I do not satisfy USA, then I cannot satisfy NYC.

I understand you can satisfy NYC if your necessary is New York or East Coast, is that what you are explaining? That they are other methods of satisfying the sufficient?

General question: If I am going through the CC and occasionally drill real questions... should I also be attending classes or working on full sections? What is recommended while I learn the basics?

Does anyone advise memorizing the indicators (and their categories) although they are under/overinclusive? Or is practice a better strategy to getting the hang of these to avoid constantly referring to my notes?
