I knew E was wrong but picked it anyway cause I figured it couldn’t be any of the others. Little did I know that quickly marking off A because the stimulus didn’t mention harm would come back to bite me.
24 is just wrong and I would have absolutely argued to LSAC about it. Contemporary does not mean “alive to day” it means “occurring at the same time as” meaning the works of Michelangelo that “soon made him the object of imitators” occurred contemporaneously with the “fakes.”
As for D, it clearly shows that the African culture does have a concept of “authentic” and “inauthentic” just that the principles outlining such terms differ from what we would consider “fake” and “original.”
#feedback I think Kevin’s reason for eliminating C was a bit hasty. He got caught up in thinking that they effected social changes when in fact it was saying that social change effected the way they write. Which I think is an apt characterization of the movement. I think the more interesting point of disagreement is the over broad generalization of said effect to all forms of social change and all forms of literature, as well as the use of the word inevitably.
I chose D when looking at the question initially but saw how it was a trap answer pretty quickly. For me it was thinking back to the LR Flaw lessons that attacking an opponents argument is not the same as supporting your own argument.
Now it’s time to Drill Baby, Drill!
chose A on timed, painstakingly mapped out every answer during BR, chose A again. It’s E.
D:
I chose E initially but switched to B on blind review. What tripped me up was misreading the stimulus as “most auto mechanics with extensive experience understand electronic circuits” so when I was sitting down and thinking about during BR, I thought about it as most As are in the subset of B, most As in B are C, therefore most As are C. Which seemed to match with B, most birds are migratory, most migratory birds have left, therefore most birds have left.
I think I need to focus more on understanding the stimulus first rather than breezing through it and focusing on the answers, since time spent really understanding the stimulus will save time by being able to eliminate answers quickly.

I chose D on timed but switched to E on blind review. What helped me most in eliminating D was the negation test:
~D = Hiring more teachers would improve the achievement of some students in the school district even if some of the teachers hired were underqualified.
I think its easier to see here that even if some students improved achievement, it is not necessary that the overall student achievement would not decrease
